Epson Philippines, a leading provider of digital imaging and printing solutions, has launched its new WorkForce Enterprise AM series, which includes the AM-C4000, C5000, and C6000 A3 Color Multifunction Printers. According to the company, the new printers offer “an equally efficient and affordable alternative to laser printers,” and are now available for sale.
Epson Philippines stated that the new printers have fewer replacement parts and require less intervention throughout their lifespan, resulting in reduced waste. The WorkForce Enterprise AM series is designed to be eco-friendly and help local companies move towards sustainability. The printers are powered by Epson’s heat-free technology for less power consumption compared to laser printers.
Market Gap Solution
The WorkForce Enterprise AM series aims to address the market gap in the 30 to 60 pages per minute range and provide an alternative to laser printing options. The availability of newer speed ranges is especially beneficial for corporate offices, as they typically require mid-speed printers for the printing of general office documents.
The AM-C6000 features an upgraded capacitive 10.1-inch touch panel and a faster A4 two-sided scan speed of 120 images per minute (ipm) compared to its predecessor’s 110 ipm. The typical electricity consumption value of the AM-C6000 is 0.25 kilowatt-hour (kWh), lower than its predecessor’s 0.41 kWh. The WorkForce Enterprise AM series printers also have built-in optical character recognition that allows users to search for words in documents, erase-red-color function that removes red-colored marking or notes in black and white documents, and Epson Print admin that boosts security and prevents leakage of confidential data.
Innovative and Affordable
Epson Philippines Marketing Division Head Eduardo Bonoan said the new offerings aim to be a strong and affordable alternative to laser copiers. He added that Epson’s sustainable inkjet technology has long been at the forefront of the company’s printing and innovation solutions.
