3Sixty Law Group announced the merger of Akshat Hansaria’s practice into the firm, appointing him as Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution. This strategic move aims to bolster the firm’s contentious practice, which will now encompass commercial litigation, arbitration, insolvency, and appellate advocacy.

Hansaria brings two decades of courtroom experience to 3Sixty Law Group. He regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, the National Company Law Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal, and Arbitral Tribunals. His practice focuses on representing corporate clients in complex, high-value commercial disputes.

Hansaria’s Background and Expertise

Prior to establishing his independent practice, Hansaria co-headed the Commercial Litigation and Arbitration practice at Svarniti Law Offices. He also served as a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team at P&A Law Offices. An alumnus of Amity Law School, New Delhi, he holds an LL.M. degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Nishant Nigam, Founding and Managing Partner of 3Sixty Law Group, welcomed Hansaria, stating the firm was founded on the conviction that clients deserve counsel who understand the law, the business, and future implications. Nigam emphasized that Hansaria embodies this philosophy with his pragmatic approach and extensive experience arguing difficult matters.

“Akshat embodies that philosophy. He has spent years arguing difficult matters before courts across the country, and he brings a measured, pragmatic approach that clients instinctively trust. His arrival strengthens our litigation management capability and allows us to stand beside our clients at every stage of a dispute, from the first notice to the final word.”

Hansaria expressed his enthusiasm for the merger, noting that his own practice taught him the value clients place on an advocate who supports them through every step of a dispute. He believes 3Sixty Law Group’s multidisciplinary platform, spanning India and the UAE, will offer his clients enhanced access to a broader team across corporate, regulatory, intellectual property, and employment matters.

“Now with 3Sixty Law, being a multidisciplinary platform spanning India and the UAE, my clients get access to a broader team across corporate, regulatory, intellectual property and employment matters, while they continue to work with the people they already know and trust,” Hansaria said. He looks forward to the collaborative endeavors with the firm.

The merger was facilitated by Bithika Anand (Founder & Managing Director, Legal League Consulting, and Founder & CEO, Human Elevation), Nipun K Bhatiaa (CEO, Legal League Consulting), and Rabab F. Rizvi (Partner, Human Elevation). This integration is expected to significantly enhance 3Sixty Law Group’s dispute resolution capabilities and client service offerings.

The firm’s expansion into dispute resolution signifies a commitment to providing comprehensive legal services. This development aligns with the broader trend of law firms seeking to offer integrated solutions to meet the evolving needs of their corporate clientele.

This strategic alignment with Hansaria’s established practice is poised to strengthen 3Sixty Law Group’s position in the competitive legal market, particularly in handling high-stakes commercial disputes across various jurisdictions.
